Call for Applications – International Product Safety Week 2026 Student Mentorship Programme

The European Commission and the International Consumer Product Health and Safety Organisation (ICPHSO) are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the International Student Mentorship Programme, taking place within the framework of the International Product Safety Week 2026 (IPSW), scheduled for 7–10 September 2026 in Brussels.

This programme is aimed at motivated students from the European Economic Area with an interest in consumer product safety, offering a unique international mentorship experience with leading experts from regulatory authorities, consumer organisations, industry, and academia.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to:

• Attend the International Product Safety Week in Brussels;
• Be paired with an experienced mentor in the field of product safety;
• Participate in networking and training sessions with international professionals;
• Engage in collaborative activities and present work in an international context.

The programme includes travel and accommodation arrangements in Brussels, as well as a EUR 200 stipend to cover additional transport and food expenses.

Eligibility

Open to full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from any discipline with an interest in consumer product safety.
