Health, Safety, and Environment Internship Opportunity

Syensqo are seeking a motivated and dynamic HSE Trainee to join its team. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices within a corporation. The HSE Trainee will support the implementation and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace in both of our offices in Lisbon.

TASKS

• Work alongside your team to identify potential hazards and develop risk control measures;
• Support and maintain accurate records of HSE activities and documentation;
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSE regulations;
• Support the investigation of incidents and accidents, and assist in the preparation of reports;
• Participate in HSE training sessions and workshops;
• Collaborate to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Training as an occupational health and safety technician (minimum CAP IV). Or who can demonstrate that they are completing the training
• Languages: Ability to speak, write and read the English language
• Motivated and proactive with good organizational skills
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Sheets and Google Slides is beneficial
